Snow in Yellowstone

The road to Old Faithful opened this past weekend. We tried to head down on Monday and the roads were so bad we couldn't get thru. So, we tried again today and we made it.....Took some snowy pictures, thought all of you Hometown folks would enjoy seeing the white stuff. Me, I am getting a little tired of it....I did get to Bozeman yesterday and was able to stop at 5 quilt shops, and yes I did purchase some kits.

I almost forgot to let you all know that I saw 2 bears today. One at Old faithful, and the other one within an eighth of a mile of my dorm.

Hope you enjoy the pictures,

Heading to the East

Adding some pictures since CarolAnne and I took a ride to Cooke City. We were hoping to spot some wolves, but we didn't locate any on our way out and back...But I did want to share some of the photo's of the landscape. I loved my Grandchildren's comment and I hope you all take a minute and read them. They are precious....

BACK IN YELLOWSTONE

Arrived here Monday, after driving in snow and ice on the Interstate from Billings with only one lane open. What a greeting!!! Checked in Tuesday Morning and after unpacking my car I started to work. Have been working everyday since, but what else is there to do, as we have snow everywhere. We have some very nice ladies living in our Dorm, and have already been hiking around the parade ground after supper everynight. Took a hike to Boling Springs last night, and a few took a dip.
Sorry, not me didn't even want to get my feet wet, still too cold 20 degrees.
Took a ride toward Lamar Valley after work, but didn't get to far because of the blowing snow.
More later......
