May 15, 2010

Here I am in Glacier National Park and trying to get settled in my new home. Jody and Jeanne are here and we are all hoping for a great year. It was a long drive and right at this moment I am dreading the drive home-good thing I have 4 months not to think about it. Karen and I had a great trip out and we made some side trips as you will see in the photo's.
Lake McDonald is a beautiful clear lake, and oh, so smooth . I start work on Monday and it looks like we will be doing some overtime as our opening day is May 22. I am living in a condo cabin and I know all of you will be envious when you see the pictures, we are still trying to figure out if we were meant for bunk beds.
Cell phone use is sporadic and internet is nonexistent at this time.

More later.....

So glad you made it okay. Was your side stops at quilt stores by chance?

If I were you I would try to get the bottom bunk. It's not always too lady like when you go to take that last step into the top bunk.

Betty..Joyce and i will be watching your blog in the weeks to come...We were going to do the road to the sun(???) a couple years ago but my truck (and pickup camper extension )was over the 21 foot limit, so we didnt even head that way....Looking forward to your adventures...God Bless.....Carl

Am I missing some blogs....I have nothing but the first one on May 15. Maybe it is me as I am not exactly computer savy. The hot summer started this month and it isn't even time, so hope it is cool where you are. The brother's band broke up and I am going to Durham tonight to an outdoor gig, to hear Greg in new band he is playing with....it will break my heart for it not to be the Flabbergasters, but life has to move on., or so they say.
Have a great time and let me hear from you. (the Dee that shows up is my 'alias')
