August 13, 2010

Hello Everyone,

I am still around....Computer activity in the park isn't up to speed. Seems when a storm goes thru, the system goes down for a few days and that happens quite a bit. I am sitting in the Columbia Falls Library trying to catch up on e mail and my blog.

Spent last week going to Canada. We had a great time and saw some beautiful sights. We started the trip by driving over the Going to the Sun Road, then heading up to Waterton. Took a boat ride on Waterton Lakes then hiked back into the States ( so I could get my Passport stamped at Goat Haunt). Then we headed North. Next day we went to "Smashed in Head Buffalo Jump", What a great museum. After lunch continued our travels to Calgary where we spent the night. Friday we headed to Baniff, what a beautiful area, took some wonderful pictures of Baniff and Lake Louise.
Saturday we attended the Eureka Outdoor Quilt Show, which turned out to be a big hit for my non quilter friends. They were mighty surprised at the wonderful Art show put on by the quilters. Duh.
Well, I am down to just 6 more weeks to go and am starting to look forward to heading home, I do hope the weather cools off in NC, as I am completely spoiled by the weather here.

Enjoy the pictures....
