Day in the Park

As part of our training we had a tour of Yellowstone Park
along with the Hotels,of course. Headed South in snow
and saw some wonderful sights. The highlight was seeing
2 grizzly bears, eating and playing beside the road. We spent
an hour in the van taking pictures. It was wonderful being
in the park with no one else around, and snow falling all
around. Some places is was 4 ft deep and others just
skimming the ground. We returned back to our place of rest
about 5:00. I didn't see any geysers, as we weren't timing
it right, so I am going out in a couple of weeks before the
tourist season hits and spend some time looking at geysers.
Talk to you later.......

So glad you are safe & sound. You've been on my mind, knowing you were traveling. Being in Yellowstone before the tourists arrive has to be SPECTACULAR. Hang in there - lots of adjustments!

Hello Betty. sounds like you have adapted well to Yellowstone. I have a co-worker who was just there a week ago and looked/asked for you - couldn't find you!! She
loves Yellowstone and will probably be reading your blog and be very jealous. She, her husband, her sister and brother-in-law were there.

Am glad to know that you are adjusting well and making friends. I hope the job is all and more than you expected, it sounds like it will be. Take care. Keep posting.
